Life Update... I got Pinterest. So I don't actually 'get it' yet but I did come across a load of good images for new year fashion inspiration. Still feeling black and white, but my lust for monochrome has branched out to include every shade of grey as well as metallics and prints. I've always been a gold kind of girl but grey and silver just go so damn well together I'm tempted to make the switch.

I set an alarm to purchase the Nike Air Max 1 Liquid Gold the second they were released but this was unsuccessful. I'd assumed they'd already sold out but in my drunken state I failed to realise that the release was in US time, not GMT and I slept through the actual launch. Maybe I should have opted for the later release of the Liquid Silver!

3 Nike SB Stefan Janoski 'Digi-floral'

5 New Balance 580 'Wanted Pack'

9 Nike Dunk Sky Hi 'Milan'
10 Nike Air Huarache LE x Size? Exclusive

So these are my personal top 10 sneaker releases of 2013, although don't hold me to it, I seem to change my mind on some of them by the day. Predictable as ever, the list is heavily weighted towards Nikes. No other brands seem to fit me properly and I normally end up selling them on so I guess I'm biased. Also, the decent New Balance/ Adidas etc usually don't come in my size and Nike have done pretty well for small feet this year. Regardless, the Tassie Devil still had to be my number 1 as almost a year later I still cannot get them out of my head.

My inner Chav can't resist anything gold, snakeskin or shiny; I may have missed out on the YOTS Air Max but managed to get a pair of the Dunk Sky Hi Milans. I don't get too much wear out of them due to the wedge heel but they were a stand-out release for exclusively Women's sneakers none the less. Lastly, 2013 was the year that Huarache's were made accessible to the masses thanks to Size? exclusives. Whether this is a good or bad thing I'm not quite sure and I struggled to pick a favourite colourway of 2013 but they definitely had to make it on to my list.
