A Little Update

Firstly I'm very sorry for the lack of posting recently, my time has been consumed by university exams, interviews for placements, making new garments and a nasty few days of kidney infection! 

Fortunately all the hard work has paid off and as of July I will be working as a Trainee merchandiser at Primark head office in Reading. I attended a very intense assessment day and interview on Friday and below is a quick shot of what I wore. Please excuse the terrified look on my face, as you can tell I was so so nervous!

So you can expect more regular posts over the next few months as I got lots of interesting things lined up! I'm off to Barcelona next week to celebrate my 21st in style and we have a Takeover photo shoot for the Spring/Summer 12 lookbook planned for the end of the month. On top of that there's gonna be a few guest posts on my blog from my boyfriend Lukas, founder of Takeover, so don't go anywhere!

Student loan spend!

So pretty much every time a substantial amount of money enters my account, a proportion of it is swiftly transerred straight to Asos! This lovely package arrived containing my new favourite jacket- who needs real leather when you've got neon sleeves? The pattern in the skirt is also so beautiful, online it looked like it was just black and white with a hint of orange so it was a surprise to find shades of coral, lime, turquoise and lilac on it!

Rita Ora

A girl twice as hot as Rihanna with the street style to rival MIA; i have got serious fashion envy of Rita Ora!

 I have completely fallen for her raw, boyish style and fearless take on pattern and colour. Now I could go on and on about her flawless makeup and epic trainer collection but i am a girl of not so many words so here's a selection of my favourite looks.

Candy Kicks

The classic Nike Air Max 1 gets a Summer 2012 update in candy pastels and sorbet neon. Above are my favourite picks, in colours so sweet you can almost taste them! All styles shown are available this month from Crooked Tounges, now just to decide which flavour to buy!

Bleached Sweater!

Mixing the old with the new! This sweater is one of the original Takeover bleached garments which i discovered buried in the back of the wardrobe. I have found that it is ideal for this time of year when the sun is shining but the wind is cold! I wore it with pastel pink trousers and my most recent purchase of this skull necklace from Topshop which I love. I pretty much live in my Ash wedge trainers as they are beautiful, go with everything and discreetly give me 3 extra inches of height which is always a bonus!
